Use a captured SAM Site against a cargo helicopter, then recover the resulting crate. The target and its cargo matter more than simply destroying any helicopter.

Objectives

• 1×Commandeer a SAM Site
• 1×Shoot Down a Chopper Carrying Cargo With a SAM Site
• 1×Loot a Crate From a Downed Chopper

If the wording differs, follow the objective shown in game.

Preparation

Plan a SAM Site approach and a safe route to collect dropped cargo afterward.

Step by step

1. Take control of a SAM Site and wait for the game to confirm that the capture is complete.
2. Use the SAM-controlled airspace to engage a helicopter carrying cargo. Observe the objective credit instead of assuming another aircraft type counts.
3. Locate the downed helicopter’s crate and search it. Check the ground approach for enemies before leaving the SAM position.

Watch out

Capturing the SAM does not complete the cargo and recovery steps by itself.
